8th Mar 2003 - Well a *very* disappointing turnout for this first contest has made me decide not to continue with this project - anyone who still wants to be a part of a vector group check out ~vbu or ~vnation for all you could ever want.
The 2 (yes, 2!) entries recieved have been uploaded for your perusal + critique so the artists efforts wont have gone to waste.

22nd Feb 2004 - Apologies to all those who have sent me a note asking to join in the last few days, I havent been home until today long enough to get you all fixed up. The backlog should be cleared post haste

Vectora: For the love of Vectors!

Looking around dA I hadn't really seen many vector based groups, so I give you Vectora!
The group has only just started up, but soon we'll be having regular contests etc to keep you busy

Vector images are infinately scalable with no loss of quality. If you're new to the world of vectors check out the incredibly clear FAQ by ~esodesign here and the clear introductory tutorial by `lemontea here


Joining

Vectora is now accepting members - to join you simply need to love vectors and have at least one vector image in your gallery. Send a note to ~vectora asking to join, and you'll be added as soon as possible.

Please do NOT leave a 'devious thought' here asking to join. This will be point blank ignored.
